Well, it's too bad that Smart Connect does not work the way that Netgear explains it in their knowledge base (KB) article. In the Netgear KB, they advise that only the 5Ghz radio bands are combined together. No mention of the 2.4Ggz in the article. It's just on the routers admin GUI that they say Smart Connect will include the 2.4Ghz too.
